Computer Access FAQs

What computer access options does the library offer?  
The library has desktops, laptops and iPads available for customer use.  

How do I use a desktop at the library?
Desktop (PC) computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Session lengths and limits are subject to change. You will need your library card number and PIN or a guest pass to log on to a computer.

How do I use a laptop or iPad at the library?
Laptops (PC) and iPads are available through vending machines located throughout the library. Devices are checked out to your library account for 2 hour sessions. Check out requires your physical library card and PIN. Accounts must be in good standing. 

Can I extend a session on a laptop or iPad? 
No, time cannot be extended but you may check out another device if one is available.  

Can laptops and iPads be used anywhere in the library? 
Devices must stay inside the building at all times. They cannot be used/taken into the restrooms, the Children's Reading Garden or in outdoor seating areas.  

What software is available on library devices? 
All devices have internet access. Desktops and laptops have Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher). 

Do you have a scanner I can use?
Yes, we have a scanner option that allows you to scan to an email or a flash drive. 

WiFi FAQs

Does the library have WiFi?
Yes! There is no password necessary but you must click “I agree” to the user agreement on the welcome page.

Printing FAQs

How much does it cost to print?
Prints are 15 cents a page single-sided or 30 cents for double-sided. Color prints are 50 cents a page single-sided or $1 for double-sided. Cash and cards accepted. We have a $50 maximum for printing: 333 black and white prints or 100 color prints.

Do you have a copier?
Yes. Copies are 15 cents a page single-sided or 30 cents for double-sided. Color copies are 50 cents a page single-sided or $1 for double-sided. Cash and cards accepted.  

Can I print from my laptop or mobile device?
Yes. You can print wirelessly using Mobility Print.
