Book Donations

The library welcomes book donations from the public. All donations become the property of the Friends of the Library and are gratefully accepted as long as no restrictions are placed on their use.

Please look at our donation guidelines, below, to see what items the Friends of the Library accept. To receive a donation form for tax purposes, please pick up a form at the Indian Creek Library bookstore or the information desk at either library.

Donations are accepted at the Indian Creek Library in the donation bin inside the front doors. Small quantities of donations are accepted at the Downtown Library and can be handed to a staff member or placed in the book drop. Large donations (multiple bags or boxes) should be taken to the Indian Creek Library.

If you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment to drop off a large donation of books and materials, please contact Julie at jclark@olathelibrary.org or 913-971-6878.
